Christmas 2011 & The Rose Bowl Jan 2012 (round 2!)

We had a wonderful Christmas this year.  Kiera had so much fun playing with Jack and Sam and going to Seaworld, the zoo, opening presents and just hanging out with the family!  We also took our second trip to the Rose Bowl this year to cheer on Wisconsin, and got our second loss!  Maybe the third time's a charm! At least this time Kiera was old enough to sit in her seat we had to pay for, at least for the part of the game she was not sleeping or sitting on my lap.  : )

The first time we took her to see Santa she was pretty scared and grabbed onto me and didn't want to sit on his lap.  I realized she probably had no idea who he was since I hadn't really talked to her about him so we took a picture with him together.  I started to talk about who Santa was and even found a video of Elmo with Santa on You Tube so Kiera thought he must be alright since Elmo liked him!  So we went back to see Santa and she still a little uneasy but was happy to sit on his lap this time.  We then saw him again at Toddler Time and by then she was a pro!
